One week old!

Just like with Marley...the time flies by so quick. Liam is a week old
already!
The past week has been so awesome. I can only imagine that the weeks
to come will be even better! I love being the mommy of 2!

It looks like we will be heading home tomorrow. Liam is doing really well health wise, and so is Sonja. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out with the dogs, and Marley, but we will make it work. If anyone wanted to meet Liam, but felt funny coming to the hospital, please feel free to let us know and we would love to have you over.

Visitors

We definitely enjoyed all of the visitors that we have had. We don't want anyone to feel like they can't come up, though. Hospital time is not exclusively for family, it is also for friends. Some of our friends are just as close as family. If anyone wants to come, please feel welcome!

All of the tests are run, blood is drawn, and now we just wait.

All checked in

We are in labor and delivery, all checked in. Sonja is going through
all of the tests to make sure that everything is ok. So far so good!

Happy birthday little man!

Today you will enter this world (finally!!). Your daddy and I couldn't
be more excited. Our family will be complete. So that you make it into
this world safely, you better listen to your guardian angel...she is a
very wise woman and loves you so very much! She would have given
anything to have been able to meet you in the flesh...you would have
loved her just as much. We will make her proud today, son! I love
you!

Excited

I am sitting here at 1:15, knowing full well that I should be
sleeping. However I am far too excited for that. It's probably a mix
of excitement and nervousness. We are so happy to be welcoming a baby
boy to our family.

Plans are all set

Everything is set. We have to be at the hospital at 8 am, and
hopefully he will be born near his 10 am appointment. I will update
this blog with any new information as we get it. Those who were with
us for the wild ride that Marley put us through will be bored for this
one!

Hi little brother!

In preparation for your arrival I just learned how to shrill! That
should keep you awake and pretty cranky!

Final weekend

We enjoyed our last weekend as a 3 person family, now we anxiously
await adding you to it. We are pretty well set in your room, and
Marley is ready to learn how to share. It seems like your pregnancy
has gone by quickly, but that doesn't mean any less anticipation. You
are going to be so loved and enjoyed. We look forward to meeting you
on Friday!

One more week...

Alright little man...guess you're going to hang in there like your big
sister! Can't wait to meet you and mommy is soooo done being
pregnant! Love you baby boy:)

On track

Drs appointment went well today. Baby boy passed his non-stress test
with flying colors. He's still breech. Measuring just right. So far
we still plan on 4/23:)

Grandmother

Early this morning, we lost your grandmother. While you never got the chance to meet her, you will learn all about her through her stories and pictures. She would have given anything to meet you, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible. She raised a wonderful daughter, who will be the best mom when you join our family in less than three weeks.

Well, maybe not yet. We are so close, though, that he might as well have been!

3 weeks left

So maximum of 3 weeks from today until we meet baby boy! He's already
such a good baby. No problems so far with all that's going on. I'm so
very fortunate!
