Movements

So on Sunday my little boy wasn't giving me any movement (that I could
feel)...gave us a little scare. However, he is making up for it now!
I don't think he's stopped since Monday morning! I think he's trying
to bust out! He is way more active than his big sister was. Wonder if
that means he's gonna be bigger or something?! Guess we'll have to
wait and see!!!!

Check up

We had our 5 month check up tonight. Heard the heartbeat and
everything looks good! This was the first time Marley paid attention
to the sound and she looked very perplexed!

Time stamp

Just in case you noticed...the time stamps on the entries are wrong.
No, I really wasn't trying to go to sleep at 7:45 last night! It was
after 11!

Goodnight son!

Seems as though my baby boy has decided it's time to tap dance!
Mommy would like to go to sleep....I guess we can see how this is
gonna be!

It's a boy!

The baby looks great! He weighs 13 oz. Right on track!

Excitement....

So I feel like a little kid on Christmas eve. I can't wait till
tomorrow morning! I probably won't sleep a wink tonight. Looks like
the popular vote is a boy. Hopefully we will know soon. I hate
waiting! Hey...this time last year we were waiting for something
too!!!!!

Halfway there!

I'm now 20 weeks pregnant! Soon we'll know what we're having
(hopefully!), marley's birthday, Christmas, and lots of family
birthdays! Before you know it new baby Carrick will be here! I'm so
anxious to meet the new baby and learn all about him/her:)

Boy or girl?

We find out next week. What do you think it's going to be?!

4 month check up

We went to the doctor tonight for our 4 month check up. All looks
good! Next appoint mention is December 10 at the high risk doctor for
the anatomy scan....stay tuned!

Funny thing...

This time last year I was pregnant! Looking forward to next
Thanksgiving with two healthy babies and NOT being pregnant!

Second pregnancy

This pregnancy is soooo different! I'm not as nearly sick as I was
with Marley. Which is great! I'm so busy with Marley I don't obsess
and worry as much....good too! But there is so much to think about
this time. Which bedroom is the baby going to get, decorations,
names! It'll get done...just take some time. I'm excited for baby
surprise to come but anxious about handling both kids so close in age.
I'm sure it's going to be hard but it'll be worth it!

Test results

Test results came back showing screen negative! So it's 90% accurate
for downs syndrome and trisome 16 and 80% accurate for open valve
defects. All in all very good news:).

First kick!

I felt my first kick this afternoon and just got a second one! Go baby!

Last blood draw

I had the last blood draw for the second trimester screening. Should
be getting the results in a week or so. Keep your fingers
crossed....healthy baby thoughts!

Dr's appointment

I had a check up yesterday and all is good. Marley, Joe, and I got to
hear the baby's heartbeat! It's getting so exciting!!

Marley is very excited!

New Baby!

So we found out officially on Monday that the new baby is 9 weeks and 1 day old. We are all very excited, especially Marley. Stay tuned as we know more details!
